I have a method in my namespace that takes an enum from that other namespace - in the version of the help I'm unable to recreate, I can navigate to see e.g. It doesn't display this other namespace on the Contents tree, but I can still view that namespace if I navigate to a type it contains via types in my main namespace (i.e. I've got a version of the help I built last week, where the panel on the left only shows the namespace I'm interested in, but I'm able to drill into types in the other namespace/assembly.
I can filter out the namespace so that it's not shown in the tree in the Contents tab, but that also means that I can't drill into types in that namespace. Unfortunately that's not quite done what I want. I did think that I'd be able to pass AssemblyA to mrefbuilder as the only type to document, and set the dep:*.dll to pull in the dependent types - so that it can drill into AssemblyB's types, but that doesn't work, am I using the /dep switch correctly?) (as an aside, if I document both assemblies (as inputs into mrefbuilder.exe), then I can drill down into AssemblyB types, which is what I want, but it displays both namespaces. how do I replicate this only using the tools directly (I'm using a modified version of the supplied example msbuild build.proj). What settings are these changing behind the scenes? i.e. If I make sure that AssemblyA and AssemblyB are both present in the Assemblies to document, and then only select the namespace from AssemblyA in the namespaces button, then it works perfectly.

I've figured out how to do what I want using the Sandcastle Help File Builder: However, I only want the namespace in AssemblyA displayed in the tree view on the left. I'm trying to document an assembly AssemblyA that relies on another assembly AssemblyB, so that if display a method in AssemblyA that relies on a type on AssemblyB, then I want it to display information on that type in AssemblyB. Sorry if I'm asking obvious questions, but I've been searching over the web about how to do this but haven't had any luck.
